Requests

Requests for equations should go here. Start your request with an asterisk and end it with your signature, which is four tildes. For example:

* Damping ratio for a second-order system (4.39, p. 176)? ~~~~

will show up, for Dr. G, as:

  • Damping ratio for a second-order system (4.39, p. 176)? DukeEgr93 13:28, 19 October 2015 (EST)

When I respond, I will move the request to the response page and it will look like:

  • Damping ratio for a second-order system (4.39, p. 176)? DukeEgr93 13:28, 19 October 2015 (EST)
    • Will add DukeEgr93 16:48, 20 October 2015 (EST)
  • Rise time for a first-order system (4.9, p. 163)? Mjo13 (talk) 21:02, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
  • Settling time for a first-order system (4.10, p. 163)? Mjo13 (talk) 21:02, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
  • Peak time for a second-order system (4.34, p. 175)? Mjo13 (talk) 21:07, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
  • Percent overshoot for a second-order system (4.38, p. 176)? Mjo13 (talk) 21:12, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
  • Settling time for a second-order system (4.42, p. 176)? Mjo13 (talk) 21:12, 22 October 2015 (EDT)

Denied / Must Memorize / Not Needed

  • Laplace Transform Table (Table 2.1, p. 36) and Laplace Transform Theorems (Table 2.2, p. 37) - not needed
  • Op amp general gains (2.97, p. 58 and 2.104, p.59) - must memorize inverting/non-inverting paradigms and gains
  • Mechanical rotation and translation impedances (Table 2.4 on p.62 and Table 2.5 on p. 69) - must memorize
  • General 2nd order transfer function (4.22, p. 170) - need to memorize - note that to be truly general there needs to be a multiplicative constant Failed to parse (: Invalid response ("Math extension cannot connect to Restbase.") from server "http://wikimedia.org/api/rest_v1/":): {\displaystyle K} in front of all that.
  • Mason's Rule (5.28, p. 252) - need to memorize that and what the terms mean.
