The Dr. Dale B.J. Randall Educational Foundation was founded on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the 168th Annual Convention of Chi Psi Fraternity hosted by Alpha Sigma Delta at Duke University. Dr. Dale was presented with a commemorative plaque inscribed with the names of all of the Founding Donors during the Convention Banquet at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club.

From the very beginning, over 25 years ago, Dr. Dale was a constant champion of our core values and the time-tested glue that has made Alpha Sigma Delta what it is today. As we are all aware, Dr. Dale gave so much to the Alpha over the years of his distinguished service. As a sign of our gratitude for Dr. Dale’s service, we honor Dr. Dale every day with the establishment of this Educational Foundation, named in his honor.

The Foundation, formed in accordance with section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code is recognized as a not-for-profit entity—all donations are fully tax-deductible and employer-matching is accepted.

The Foundation is dedicated to fulfilling Dr. Dale’s vision for the pursuit of academic excellence and is used to endow many of our annual Alpha Sigma Delta scholarships and educational programs, including:

The Dr. Dale Randall Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Achievement The Pledging Scholarship Program The Alpha Sigma Delta Semester GPA Achievement Program
