About Me

Born and raised in South Korea, I graduated Northfield Mount Hermon School, MA. Now, I am a member of Duke University Class of 2014, associated with Pratt School of Engineering. My intended major is Mechanical Engineering.

Name Pronuonciation

The name I go by is Greg Lee. I believe it is quite straightforward in the pronunciation. Since I have never seen one non-Korean who cannot pronounce my Korean name correctly, my Korean is "Gi Jung Lee," which should be read as "Ki Joong Lee."

Favorite MATLAB Demonstration

My favorite MATLAB demonstration is "Earth's Topography." I was impressed to see how MATLAB is capable of drawing such a complex and detailed outline of Earth's topography on 2-D and even on 3-D. Compared to other graphics and plottings, the demo of Earth's topography was surely the most complicated and realistic.

Grand Challenge

One of techniques that enables to provide access to clean water is as follows: Cleaning Water With 'Nanocrust', Bethany Halford, Chemical & Engineering News, created 13 November 2006, accessed 18 September 2010(General)
