About Me
I am a freshman here, planning on studying biomedical engineering and considering a pre-med track. This sounds like quite a lot of work so I will see how that goes. I am originally from the bay area in California, specifically a little south of San Francisco. While at Duke I plan to participate in club sports like volleyball and/or soccer, hopefully study abroad, and work on some really interesting projects.

Exactly how it looks, except it's not LaPorté with an accent on the e, but rather sounds like "La-port."

Favorite MATLAB Demo
My favorite MATLAB demo that I looked at was the "Mathematics: Basic Matrix Operations, Matrix Manipulation, Loma Prieta Earthquake." This one was my favorite because it was the most helpful in solidifying the foundations of MATLAB and understanding concepts that are key in most programs we will be writing.
