College
I'm a possible Biomedical Engineering major with a Finance minor and a Pre-Med track. I am also a University Scholar at Duke University.
Engineering Grand Challenges
These challenges are some of the major goals that we must strive towards in the 21st century. One of the challenges that particularly sparks my interest is to "Provide energy from fusion." Here is an update on one of the possible means to attaining this lofty goal.

How To Pronounce My Name
Hersh Desai is said Hersh (similar to Hershey's Chocolate) De-psi (like the Greek letter).
My Favorite Demonstration
My favorite demonstration within the MATLAB product help menu was the Three-Dimensional Knot. I just found it to be quite awesome because of the variation of colors as the line progresses as well as the fact that one line was curved into a continuous knot. The ability to show depth through MATLAB is impressive in the demonstration. It also relates to knot theory, with which I am vaguely familiar. I am also much more familiar with the various Boy Scout knots because I am an Eagle Scout.
