*The Graphics "Viewing a Penny" demonstration was easily my favorite.  The ability for a program to plot 3-Dimensional data representing a physical object is hard not to be amazed by.  The detail on the penny's surface represented by a contour plot is awesome.  I was exposed to new ideas such as using a pseudocolor that varies depending on its relative height determined by the Laplacian command.  I thought that this sequence of commands was genius and the product was clean.

About Me: I am a freshman in the [1]Pratt School of Engineering at [2]Duke University in Durham, NC. I recently graduated from the [3]Parish Episcopal School in Dallas, TX where I attended for 15 years. Highlights of my highschool career included serving on the Upper School Honor Council, winning 4 TAPPS 4A tennis state championships, and extensive involvement with the [4]Texas Ramp Project.

Academic Interests and Pursuits:

  • Currently, I want to study Biomedical Engineering.
    • This semester I am taking these classes:
      • BIO 201
      • EGR 103
      • MATH 212
      • PSY 101

My hobbies include:

  • Cooking
  • Fishing
