Demonstrations
My favorite Matlab demonstration was the 3-D plotting demonstrations. I liked to see the various ways to view 3- dimensional plots. The different plots have different purposes. Quiver show the direction at different points. The contour plot of peaks is a helpful view of the level sets of a 3-dimensional figure.
