** Our goal is to create a solar panel mount for a mini-design space constructed from a shipping container, in order to maximize solar irradiance through variations in tilt approximately every three months. The frame and mount should be replicable with materials available in Kampala, Uganda, where the partner design space is located. Additionally, it should use a minimal amount of electricity in order to maximize the electricity available to the design space.

About Me

I am a first year undergraduate student at Duke University. I am pursuing a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the Pratt School of Engineering, and a minor in Mathematics from the Trinity College of Arts and Sciences.

Name Pronunciation

My family pronounces my first name "El-EE-Ah-Nuh", and my last name "Dur-Kee". The most common mispronunciation is people calling me "E-lane-uh", but that is simply not the order the letters are in. My friends and family also call me Eli, pronounced "El-EE".
