I graduated from Carrboro High School in Carrboro, NC (just outside of Chapel Hill) with a class of 198 students. I spent my last 3 summers working as a sea kayaking instructor on Martha's Vineyard. I spend my free time reading, hanging out with friends, or doing outdoorsy activities, such as swimming, rock climbing, biking, kayaking, skiing, and whitewater rafting. This year at Duke, I am taking EGR53, EGR20, Math41, and Writing20 (Conservation of Biodiversity). I am planning to major in Mechanical Engineering, with a possible certificate in Aerospace Engineering.
