Personal Bio
My name is Georgia McLendon(Jor-juh), and I am currently a freshman at Duke University. I plan on majoring in Biomedical Engineering with an interest in pursuing medicine. My favorite animal is the cat because they're ridiculously cute and always know where the best place to sleep is.

MATLAB Demonstration Remarks
After going through the various demonstrations listed, my favorite would definitely be the Teapot Demo under 3D Visualizations. Besides being very amused by the lid lifting feature, I really liked how I could physically see the object in question and manipulate its appearance, its style and surface type; with the help of the computer, I could conceptualize the varying features of the object with far greater detail than I would have on my own. More importantly, the applications of this visualization technology are enormous, spanning from modeling pipes and reactor systems in the petroleum industry to the ever-evolving medical imaging technology in hospitals.
