About Me

I am a student of the Class of 2015 majoring in Biomedical Engineering through the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University.

My Name

My name is Darrin Lim. It is pronounced DARE-in Lim.

Interests

My main interests are in the areas of genetics and genomics, as well as the field of tissue engineering within biomedical engineering. I also enjoy math, computer science, and philosophy.

Background

I am from Lincoln, Nebraska.

Favorite Matlab Demo

My favorite Matlab demo was the Cruller demo because it created a surface that was identical to a Mobius strip. The fact that Matlab can convert code into such an easy to view graphic, and the mind-bending visual of that graphic, showed the epic power of Matlab. Furthermore, Mobius strips are intriguing items, making the Cruller demo my favorite of the Matlab demos.
