Grand Challenges for Engineering Article

Personalized medicine: revolutionizing drug discovery and patient care[2], Geoffrey S. Ginsburg and Jeanette J. McCarthy, Tripod.com, TRENDS in Biotechnology Vol.19 No.12 December 2001, accessed 12 September 2015 (Grand Challenge: Engineer Better Medicines)

Favorite MATLAB Demonstration

My favorite MATLAB demonstration is the Graphics Demonstration for Viewing a Penny. It is interesting to know that MATLAB has built-in data files that contain actual data from real-life situations that can be loaded, such as the measurements made at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. I enjoyed this demonstration because I was able to familiarize myself with the functions of MATLAB while also recreating the image of a penny on my computer screen, something I would have never thought I would be able to do.
