About Me
I am Anika Agnihotri, a freshman in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University. As of now, my intended major is biomedical engineering due to vested interests in both medicine and design.
Background
I come from an immigrant family, and I've grown up in New Jersey for all of my life. I went to the Academy for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering for high school, which definitely bolstered my appreciation for design and its various applications. As for extracurriculars, I have been a competitive Bollywood and Kathak dancer for over ten years, a trend I hope to continue now that I have joined Duke Rhydhun. I also won the Cooper Hewitt National High School Design Competition, participated in research for better healthcare in Kenya, volunteered on an EMS squad, and taught young girls classical dance.
