Matlab Demonstration

The demonstration that was my favorite was the Game of Life one. The reason I found this one so interesting was because all the other demonstrations were things things you'd expect to see done in matlab. They all had some purpose to analyze some sort of data. I was attracted to Game of Life because it seemed interesting to try and model communities forming. This was particularly fascinating to me because I want to work in artificial intelligence when I (hopefully) graduate and seeing computers model behaviors of organisms, regardless of how complex, always interests me. Albeit, this demonstration wasn't that complex because the only condition it has for a cell to keep existing is for there to be 8 adjacent cells, but the fact that this simple condition can be added to many others to make something way more complex blows my mind. I also find it interesting to use random inputs and have a set algorithm for all possible results and see how probable each of the results is. It makes me think about whether we could do this with humans and see how probable it is for us to exist and evolve the way we have.
