Favorite MATLAB Demonstration

My favorite MATLAB demonstration from the Homework 2 assignment is the "Earth's Topography" example. This is my favorite because I think it is interesting that MATLAB includes this Earth view feature. At first glance, MATLAB is a high-performance calculator. But once you discover the many built-in functions of MATLAB, it becomes much more than a calculator. The built-in Earth feature is one of those features that is something that you would not expect from a program like MATLAB. I also liked the "Viewing a Penny" example for similar reasons. The fact that you can see the Earth in various ways (2-D, 3-D, Contour Plot, etc.) is unexpected and interesting. Anything that creates a cool graphic/visualization makes EGR 103 more fun. The "Earth's Topography" demonstration creates an aesthetically pleasing visual.
