Carolyn is pronounced like ka-row-lin, not like Caroline. Yao like Yao Ming.

Favorite MATLAB Demonstration

Out of all the examples MATLAB has under its help and Getting Started section, the one I felt was the most interesting was the bending truss demonstration. It includes many modes on a drag-down box, each giving a distinct visualization of a truss, fixed on both ends with a body of triangles that wobble. The pattern of movement is well-illustrated and animation is definitely one of the things I'd like to play around with on MATLAB.
