MATLAB Demo (Assignment #2)
The most interesting MATLAB demo I read was entitled "Creating Mesh and Surface Plots." It seems like MATLAB offers an especially easy-to-use, high-quality 3D graphing function, of which I hope to make extensive use. The really interesting part, I suppose, is that the bioinformaticians from the lab I worked in this summer talked a lot about the usefulness of knowing how to represent biological systems graphically, which got me wishing that I could learn to use the sorts of programs I'm apparently working with now.
