EGR 224 is a required course for all students planning to earn a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree with the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Material Science at Duke University. It can also be taken as an elective by students in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department who want their out-of-department course to focus on electronics, signal processing, and sensing. This page is meant to provide answers to general questions about the course, not necessarily specific questions about content. There is also a Category:EGR 224 that will list all pages relevant to EGR 224. Note at the bottom of this page that it is a member of that category.
Students in EGR 224 may also want to check out the Welcome Back page.

Lab Supplements
- Lab 1 - Solving Circuit Equations Using Maple
- Note - if you are using the Duke Maple via a Container or a terminal window, and a window comes up telling you about an available update, click Cancel. If you are using Maple on your own computer, you can update at will.
- EGR 224/Spring 2022/Lab 01
- Maple
- Maple/Initialization and Documentation
- Maple/Simultaneous Equations
- Maple/Examples/Circuits
- Lab 2 - Electrical Circuits and Measurements I
- Lab 3 - Electrical Circuits and Measurements II
- Multisim - general information
- EGR 224/Multisim - images showing how to connect a controlled source
- Multisim Group for EGR 224 - there is an S21 there but I have decided to just make one group forever and the link apparently does not change...
- Lab 4 - Introduction to Arduino
- Lab 5 - Solving Circuits with Capacitors
- Lab 6 - Arduino: Interfacing with Hardware
- Lab 7 - Circuit Building and Measurements
- Lab 8 - RC ACSS Analysis

Questions
Post your questions by editing the discussion page of this article. Edit the page, then scroll to the bottom and add a question by putting in the characters *{{Q}}, followed by your question and finally your signature (with four tildes, i.e. ~~~~). Using the {{Q}} will automatically put the page in the category of pages with questions - other editors hoping to help out can then go to that category page to see where the questions are. See the page for Template:Q for details and examples.
